Audience Member This one unfortunately walked the tough line of being bad enough that that becomes the source of entertainment and an ok story just done badly. Luke Wilson and Samuel L. Jackson give pretty lackluster performances, more notieceably in Wilson's case, but I can blame a lot of that on the stunted dialogue. I actually enjoyed the possible twist that explained a lot of aspects and motivations I had already given up on and assumed at the time these inconsistencies and large leaps we were being asked to take were just the result of a real bad movie. I always appreciate an ambiguous ending as well. Samuel L. Jackson Binge: SLJ was definitely the more entertaining of the two leads here but that was likely more a result of his character. With Arena and Meeting Evil so far from 2011, I'd love to see the projects he turned down this year. SLJ #12 Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Not even Sam Jackson can get this mofo justice Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member a really terrible movie, which is a shame, as i like the actors. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Don't get the hate for this movie. Sam L Jackson is meant for playing villain and I got the fun out of it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Pure GARBAGE! I am amazed og how Hollywood wastes money like this! THE WORST movie Samuel L Jackson has made!!! a total waste of time!!!! Joe Leydon Variety Writer-director Chris Fisher flirts with over-the-top exaggeration so often during Meeting Evil that auds might wish he'd gone all the way and dialed everything up to 11. May 4, 2012 Full Review Nick Schager Slant Magazine Chris Fisher so over-directs his material that the action takes on the sheen of a parody or, at least, of a film that doesn't realize its clichs are being exaggerated to the point of absurdity. Rated: 1/4 May 1, 2012 Full Review Eric Melin Scene-Stealers.com It features tons of poor decisions, from the overwrought and intrusive musical score to bad-joke one liners from the main characters down to the supporting ones. The worst decision either actor made was actually appearing in this awful film. Rated: 0/4 Sep 4, 2012 Full Review Witney Seibold CraveOnline A cheap slasher flick with some talented actors masking the banality with clever dialogue... Rated: 4.5/10 Aug 25, 2012 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...just another hopelessly incompetent direct-to-video thriller... Rated: 1/4 Jul 31, 2012 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue Samuel L. Jackson has fun chewing the scenery as a deranged killer in this otherwise formulaic thriller.
