Audience Member Sobering, disturbing, and interesting documentary about the lives of gay crystal meth addicts and how it totally envelops, then eventually destroys their world, and their struggle to climb out of the dark abyss. I know someone who murdered someone while on this drug. It's sad to see these poeple who have destroyed part of themselves because of this drug, but they bring it on themselves. Like the films of Erroll Morris, director Ahlberg uses startling and seemingly unrelated images to provoke emotions in the viewer to aid the poignancy of some of the more meaningful points in the film. The subjects are all articulate in their own right, and even poetic. The comedy in the beginning holds through, even when things start to seem bleak. This is a vastly important film, and it is a shame that it is so obscure. The stories will haunt you.
