Eva Green shines as Miss Peregrine, but she lacks time on screen. Ella Purnell, sunshines as Emma, and the other secondary characters just help to create this world. I would love to see a sequel. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is the most loved adventure fantasy movie of all time for me. This movie made based on 2011 novel by Ransom Riggs. Even if you haven’t read the novel, but I can enjoy watch this movie again and again without boring. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children wining a total 2 awards and 12 nominations, “Tim Burton's Best Film In Years” - Richard Lawson, Nanity Fair. The cinematography and soundtrack are both remarkable. The main character was incredible. His character amazes me, and I love how his personality is. In my opinion, even though this movie contains time loop, but it is quite easy to follow. The story started with Jacob Portman, a teenager who discover on a hidden orphanage after uncovering clues from his grandfather’s mysterious past. This orphanage, led by the mysterious Miss Peregrine, houses children with extraordinary abilities—such as invisibility, super strength, etc. Miss Peregrine herself also has the ability to control time loops. Set against a beautiful backdrop, Jacob soon discovers an evil force hunting these extraordinary children. As he learns more about his own connection to the hidden world, he must decide whether to accept his destiny and protect those who depend on him. The movie has a great story with a lot of mystery and supernatural elements. It starts off strong, but the pacing feels quite uneven, with some parts moving too quick and not diving deep enough into the emotions of characters. While some reviewers mention plot holes, I personally didn’t notice any of these plot hole, especially as someone who hasn’t read the novel. The time loop idea is explained quite clearly and easy to get along. One of my favorite scene is the final scene when Jacob met with his grandfather again, after that his grandfather supports him to accepting his role to protect the orphanage, these giving the story a nice heartfelt ending. Asa Butterfield did a great job as Jacob Portman, bringing the character to life with realness and depth, Eva Green plays as Miss Peregrine, showing both charm and strength, while. Samuel L. Jackson is energetic as the villain, but sometimes his acting feels too over-the-top. The peculiar children look interesting, but we don’t learn enough about them to care deeply. Tim Burton’s unique style is shown in the dark, magical visuals, and the special effects make the supernatural world come alive, though some scenes feel a bit too dramatic. The music fits the eerie mood, but at times it’s easy to predict. Even though the pacing isn’t perfect, mostly in the second half, but the movie is still fun to watch, especially for fans of fantasy and beautiful visuals. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is a beautiful movie with an interesting story and fantastic acting. The person who loves in fantasy movie will enjoy watching this movie. For those who not a fantasy fan, I think it a great time killing movie since it has a lot of thrilling scenes. Or if you are looking for a time involved movie, this movie is the great starter since it very easy to get along. I give this movie an 4 out of 5. The villain just didn’t feel that compelling and good and kind of fell flat. it really could have used a longer runtime and more exposition to develop the characters and the world better. it had a lot of potential, but didn't deliver .
