"Here we go again." It's not the same without Rachel Weisz. Nice to see Brendan Fraser and John Hannah return to the franchise. Michelle Yeoh and Jet Li make a great addition. Nevertheless, It's still full of epic action sequences, humor, and special effects.

i have to say: i did not watch that till the end, but sometimes one change is all it takes and here it was Maria Bello instead of Rachel Weisz...i like Bello but here it is a horrible miscast, everything Weisz gave, humor, heart...its gone...no chemistry. nothing. i love the first two, this one...forget it!

It lacks the confusing mythology of the previous entry but it also feels more tired and forced. Any movie where yetis show up completely out of the blue and Jet Li morphs into a three headed dragon should not be mostly boring.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor didn't start off on the right foot when I realized that they replaced Rachel Weisz with Maria Bello. I don't have anything against Bello, but when one of the leads is replaced for a sequel in a franchise like this, it usually means the movie's screenplay isn't up to par. And, indeed, it felt like the filmmakers were more interested in visual effects than they were story. It's one action sequence after the other, with one-dimensional characters in the middle of it all. It tries so hard to be exciting, but The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is just loud & dull.
