Audience Member Twisted storyline, right amount of gore, perfect amount of twists that made it less predictable for the viewers. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/17/24 Full Review Darcy T Great B Movie by Japanese director Ryuhei Kitamura. Bought to us by WWE when they were in the movie business. Plot twists and turns to its murderous conclusion. Violence is fantastically, splatter fuelled and over the top. Great cast who come across as wooden in places with dialogue delivered in a cardboard fashion. This really suits this movie and took me a while to get my head around. Amazing set pieces come regularly and story keeps you guessing. Well worth 90 mins of your time. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/07/24 Full Review Stephen C Surprisingly entertaining, had a few unexpected turns in the story, after 20 minutes was hooked. Had me on the edge of my seat, and it had a satisfying ending. Don't usually like gore or horror, but this was excellently done. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/24 Full Review Gary V It was like half an idea. Not very well fleshed out and no idea really what anyone's motivation was, especially Driver. It was a bit of a mess. I kind of like the idea they were going for, but they really missed the mark and most of the acting was horrible. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Alfred M This film is the definition of mindless grind house sleaze. It's violent and gory with no real plot or likable characters, yet somehow it has a fun endearing b-movie charm due to a gleefully sinister performance from Luke Evans. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/31/23 Full Review Joshua m Entertaining gore fest, but ultimately it lacks enough substance. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Mark Kermode Observer (UK) Splashes of gore and evisceration combine with a nicely nasty psycho-killer turn from Luke Evans to enliven this grindy slasher from Midnight Meat Train director Ryuhei Kitamura. Rated: 3/5 Sep 9, 2013 Full Review Mike McCahill Guardian Director Ryuhei Kitamura ladles on the entrails like a ghoulish dinnerlady, but his three-way narrative strategies lead nowhere ... Rated: 2/5 Sep 5, 2013 Full Review Martyn Conterio Little White Lies Like black pudding, No One Lives is an acquired taste. Rated: 3/5 Sep 5, 2013 Full Review Patrick Cavanaugh The Wolfman Cometh It makes good on the expectations of its titles, though fails to make the journey towards that predetermined destination all that enjoyable. Rated: 2/5 Sep 20, 2023 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com More often than not, the film skips from one dull cliché to another, even as it attempts to launch a massive series of laughably implausible twists. Aug 20, 2019 Full Review C.J. Prince Way Too Indie Unfortunately, this is not a triumphant return for Kitamura, as No One Lives is a pretty stupid movie.
