Audience Member AMIN THE RISE AND FALL is a non stop thrill ride sure to please everyone. an ultra-bloodbath ,very interesting story of the late eastern african dictator who is killing people left and right. a few loose ends but still satisfying. I suppose it captures certain truths and it's important for the world to know what kind of a dictator he was. That said, it's not terribly unique or interesting. It's what one would expect. It never grabs you emotionally and worst of all, it never gets too nasty. It's all pretty tame. The heads in the freezer is probably the most shocking moment. Actually, imagine that movie, and imagine it as a late 70's exploitation movie, and that's what you have, Bodies flying all over the place, extreme bad acting and just puzzling set pieces make this a definite curio.
