Ele acredita que pode controlar o complicado relacionamento com as duas, usufruindo de dois tipos diferentes de sensações, sensualidade e da culinária que suas amantes oferecem. Pensa que poderia esconder a existência de uma da outra e amá-las tanto quanto for possível. Certo dia, ele começa a perceber que seus cabelos e sobrancelhas estão caindo e sua gengiva está sangrando. Exames médicos provam que ele está sendo envenenado e possivelmente pela alimentação. O que vai acontecer com ele? Será uma vingança de amor? Quem está por trás da conspiração? Será uma das duas?! Rated 3/5 Stars •  Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Several years ago I read the original novel by one of my favourite writer Shu Qiao.She has written many interesting essays about food.And I must confess I take a great interest in different food and even stories about various food!"Like Water For Chocolate" is also a film I love.In the two stories the dishes are all acting as kind of important roles.The film tells about a metaphor or an irony about the weakness and darkness in human nature.It's a "horror" film in some ways.Though,after seeing it,I still have the "terrible" but really "natural" desire to taste all the beautiful and "deadly delicious" dishes;) After all,food is innocent."human and food are equal",which is the name of another book by Shu Qiao. P.S.The actress Yu Nan's acting is always amazing to me.Wanna recommend another her film here,"Tuya's Marriage",a moving story. There's not enough character development on Francis Ng, which largely reduces the impact of the "twist". The cop scene and the hopeful ending with out-of-place narrative could really be cut out completely.
