Matt Brunson Film Frenzy The Alps scenery, a diverse international cast, and a couple of red herrings add some value to an otherwise disposable thriller. Rated: 2.5/4 Feb 26, 2024 Full Review Kathy Fennessy Video Librarian Magazine The plot doesn't unfurl as coherently as possible, but it doesn't really matter. In 21st-century parlance, The Swiss Conspiracy runs on vibes. Rated: 3/5 Feb 15, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

SICKS6SIX It is one of them movies made in the decade from the mid-1960s - 1970s were everyone took too many drugs, the actors are terrible, its hammed to death, its an insult to the movie-paying public, everything about it is a "how not to make a good film" even the terrible music in the soundtrack annoys, the plot is farcical, the script juvenile/senile and the actors are so cliched it is just not funny, Davin Jannsen is a cartoon of himself straight off the set of that crappy American TV show Harry0. he was 44 when he made film and looks 65, he is drawn and tired and flabby, and shouts at people constantly, John Saxon, Sommer and Berg are also crap in this excuse of a film, this is what happens when you take too much cocaine and surround yourself with yes-men, David Jannsen's heart exploded 5 years later with no previous heart problems ever. he had a massive coronary in LA, whiskey and coke was said to contribute to his death, I can't think of anything positive about this film, shootouts, car chases, drunkards acting badly who are unable to run more than 20 yards. champaign in posh restaurants, red Ferraris, the woman seem to live in the bath and bath robes, Music that is ear shatteringly awful and far too loud, a french version of, wait for it... "Sloop john B"...by the beach boys.. its got everything that films should not have, the director should have been shot for allowing such an insult to be made, the editing floor should have been two feet deep in celluloid and the film cut down to 5 minutes tops.. I just thought of something positive IT ENDS. eventually, I can guarantee that everyone involved in this film has never seen it since the opening night in LA . and have probably forgotten they were part of this debacle but at the time you just know they had lots of fun making it, especially at night ! everyone looks as if they have had no sleep for weeks, pale greasy skin with a 6 o'clock shadow and dark baggy eyes seems to be part of the make-up. even the extras look like worn-out porn stars, it is Harry O inside a swiss cuckoo clock, I have to mention the music again, electro-euro-pop-synth with bongos far too loud set to car chases in the Alps (you couldn't make it up), Sommer looks like a snowman with coal for eyes, the Teutonic temptress is dressed to kill, I just wish she had killed the director jack Arnold (not the crowning glory he hoped for), Sommer is good in the pink panther and terrible in this. Sommer, Jannsen, Ray Milland, Jhon Saxon are all in the same room at the same time . .think about that ! what an absolute waste of money and time making this film, the test card is better viewing and electronic feedback sounds better, Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/22 Full Review Matthew D Worth seeing once, but you probably won't remember it very long. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/16/20 Full Review Audience Member Blackmail among the wealthy secret clients of a Swiss bank leads to several murders. Bank management seems more concerned about the firm's reputation than the well being of their clients. Probably not far off the truth. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member another good caper pic Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member a masterpiece, an underrated classic, David Janssen is excellent. The scenery is beautiful, love the progressive rock, synth score of "Passport" Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Surprisingly bland thriller, some good Swiss location filming helps, but it seems to go out of it's way to keep the viewer uninvolved. Cold and has no heart. A few good action scenes. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
