Venessa Wong BuzzFeed News While I, too, experience franchise fatigue, I would still look forward to seeing another installment of this zingy series. Dec 22, 2022 Full Review Joly Herman Common Sense Media Boss Baby: Christmas Bonus surprises with a sprinkling of political satire borne out of real labor-movement issues, while serving up funny characters like Dongle (Ray Chase), the elf with the Russian accent -- a foil to the capitalist Boss Baby, perhaps? Pillow R Writing is weak at times, and they're just milking it like a cow Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/13/24 Full Review matthias s "Boss Baby: Christmas Bonus" jingles into the holiday cheer with a mix of festive fun and occasional misfires. Surprisingly better than anticipated, this seasonal special sparkles with witty humor and a cleverly written storyline. The voice acting shines, even without Alec Baldwin's Boss Baby at the helm. The animation sleigh-rides between decent and delightful, though the pacing feels as wobbly as a new elf on ice skates. Turning Santa into a former Boss Baby is a stroke of genius, but the over-reliance on repetitive bodily function jokes; the fart and poop variety might make you wish for a fresher gag stocking. The notion of baby elves is adorable, yet the charm can't entirely mask the unevenness of the narrative. In essence, "Boss Baby: Christmas Bonus" delivers a good dose of holiday cheer and clever twists but might leave you torn between giggles and groans. It's a merry mix that might resonate differently with each viewer, making it a gift wrapped in mixed feelings. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/07/23 Full Review The Eternal Voyager This movie scared my grandchildren into leaving and never coming back. Alec Baldwin as Baby Boss was frankly a terrible performance. As a retired critic, this was one of the worst moments of my entire professional life. It was so terrible that I've decided to begin critiquing nostalgia again. Look out world, I'm coming back. Bad movie. Didn't like it very much, smh. NEVER watch it under any circumstances. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/07/23 Full Review The M 1. Humorous and cute 2. The irony of life 3. Christmas spirit Really good, nothing to fault i like this movie "Have fun like a kid" Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/09/23 Full Review Ethan S i have not seen it but what ever! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/14/23 Full Review heather y The movie was cute, with plenty of jokes for parents along with children. However, they didn't cross-reference previous boss baby movies for accuracy, as they called Boss Baby Theodore Leslie Templeton. At the end of the first movie, Boss Baby, Theodore (Boss Baby) was given the middle name Lindsey, and Tim had the middle name Leslie. If you're going to make any spinoffs you have to check that all information is correct. I know it's a small detail, but consistency is key in these cartoons.
