Michael B A cute and appealing family movie set in a small town in New England during Christmas, 1944. The Battle of the Bulge rages while the Bundy family gathers for Christmas. It’s somewhat heavy handed and the acting is uneven, but it does a good job as a “slice of life” picture portraying life in those times, with rationing, military service, and the love of families for each other.
