Audience Member Overall it's pretty good but I have a few criticisms: -The transition between the ages could've been a bit longer and more detailed. -The raptors take therizinosaur claws and ceratopsian horns and just walk away like it was nothing? I think this really undersells how dangerous the herbivores were. -It is established that the raptors are smart and yet somehow they lack survival instinct to the point where they just stand still until they are engulfed in flames. Nicely done TV "historic" documentary that says frightening giant lizards once roamed America many years ago (let us hope). Goodman's narration is effective, yet the CGI effects are typically uneven. Although the dilophosaurus and velociraptor seem almost real.
