Audience Member Got an account specifically so I could give this movie the lowest possible rating. By far the worst movie I've ever scene. The acting is atrocious, the plot is almost non-existent, the action is stilted, the sound is uneven. I guess you can tell I'm bitter that I wasted a portion of my life watching it. (Unless you want to shell out thousands of dollars for a new TV to replace the one the kids will be throwing their toys at or tens of thousands of dollars for therapy down the road) Thinking of buying this for the family video library? DEFINITELY DON'T! How the producer of this film persuaded Blockbuster or Red Box to distribute this turkey is hard to fathom. I can only suspect Michael had some dirt on executives at both companies and was ready to spill if they didn't set Wildfire free upon movie audiences. Bottom line: this film makes "Heaven's Gate", "Ishtar", "Gili" and "Plan 9 From Outer Space" look like high art. This film should only be used to induce vomiting in cases of accidental poisoning. My kids love it and I hear the DVD playing it regularly.Story had a few twists and the filming was first class. I felt the acting was the only weak spot but kinda guessed that it would be since I did not know any of the actors, only can say everyone starts someplace.I was attracted as it's a Dove Awarded film but do not understand the NR rating as the Dove folks rated it for "all ages" making it a G rated film in my mind. Anyway if your looking for a big budget film this is not it but for sure has great family values without being preachy. For me a family friendly film is a winner, but this may explain why very few are made because reviewers would rather have things blowing up, swearing and ever one for themselves... when did good values and life lessons get locked in the closet?
