Street-wise Max (Kat Dennings) doesn't expect much from the new waitress at her night job, a rich girl who has reluctantly joined the food service industry after a string of bad luck. But to her surprise, Caroline (Beth Behrs) is a woman of substance and just may be her ticket to success. The two strike up an unlikely friendship after Caroline discovers that Max can bake a mean cupcake, and the women decide if they can just wrangle up the start-up cash, they may have found their big break. Their co-workers at the diner are boss Han Lee, cook Oleg and cashier Earl.

Brittani Nichols Autostraddle For every million middle-America viewers that tune in, there'll be one hundred liberal elite types scratching their heads wondering what drug they're putting in Hungry-Man dinners for people to find this funny... I guess I fall somewhere in the middle. Aug 27, 2021 Full Review Kelsey Wallace Bitch Media The only progress I see is that this show is called 2 Broke Girls instead of 2 Broke Guys, and that's certainly not enough to get me to watch next week's episode. Jan 8, 2021 Full Review Margaret Lyons New York Magazine/Vulture While Kat Dennings can surl with the surliest of all surlsters, she and Beth Behrs play off each other extremely well - which is why it would be nice to see them work as a team, or at least drop the constant sniping. Sep 26, 2018 Full Review Randy Dankievitch Processed Media In a nutshell, there's nothing 'creative' about 2 Broke Girls, and to consider it one of the worst sitcoms of the last twenty years wouldn't be a stretch at all. Rated: F Feb 24, 2020 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba There's quite a bit of potential with the show if only you could mute the laugh tracks, erase the setting, dispose of the character stereotypes, get rid of everyone else on the show and basically isolate Kat Dennings. Oct 3, 2018 Full Review Simon Cunliffe TV Equals The jokes are a lot racier than you'll find on other shows and they can be hit and miss but the show is not boring and it has so much potential. I'm still very much a fan. Oct 3, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
