Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear reimagine the procedural drama with "9-1-1." The series explores the high-pressure experiences of first responders -- including police officers, firefighters and dispatchers -- who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives. The show draws from real-life, high-pressure experiences of first responders who regularly face heart-stopping situations that are often unpredictable, intense and uplifting at the same time.

This season Athena and the 118 encounter really dangerous missions: from home invasions, wedding proposals gone wrong, dangerous rehab centers to labs on fire, lightning strike emergencies, and a dreadful bridge collapse. The writers keep putting our amazing characters in danger, sometimes even mortal danger, but they keep walking away unscathed after a few episodes, to the point we could believe they are immortal at his point. After such a long run, I think it is time someone bites the dust, for realistic and dramatic effect. However, the show continues to explore issues that are relevant to today's world with stunning and thrilling action scenes due to the expensive production value, and the cast is still flawless with all the dramatic and funny plotlines they have to go through.
