Alan Sepinwall Newark Star-Ledger It's the usual Kelley recipe -- shocks and quirks for their own sake, in a never-ending game of Can You Top This? Oct 15, 2019 Full Review Angie Errigo Empire Magazine Less about lawyers in love than Ally McBeal and less earnest than The Practice, Boston Legal is kooky while tackling hot-button issues. The balance is embodied, brilliantly, in the two protagonists. Rated: 3/5 Mar 3, 2018 Full Review Rob Owen Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Who knows what next season will bring, although my guess is another cast purge. But for tonight, enjoy the bracing arguments of a David E. Kelley gem. Oct 15, 2019 Full Review Ross Ruediger Bullz-Eye.com Season standouts? The Mighty Rogues is an excellent piece of drama. Rated: 4/5 Mar 3, 2018 Full Review Issac Kelley PopMatters Perhaps the funniest scene in the whole fourth season occurs in "Tabloid Nation" when Crane thinks he has a chance at romance with Candice Bergen's Shirley Schmidt. Mei Ellisabet J This series is epic and the lawyers ' closings are often brilliant but the increased focus on Denny Crane in season 4 and 5 makes it less funny and less brilliant. The character should be a side show, not a main character in so many episodes, it gets repetitive and lame, it's too silly and a bit stupid. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/05/23 Full Review David C The most bizarre Series thus far! Lol Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review steve d The wheels come off with only Spader and Shatner making it at all fun anymore Vally, Bowen, and Auberjonois brought far more to the show than was realized.
