The detectives of Brooklyn's 99th Precinct -- hotshot Jake Peralta, overachiever Amy Santiago, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz, sweetheart Charles Boyle, devoted family man Sgt. Mixed in with the hilarity are surprising moments of callousness from the main characters. Holt in this season is especially vitriol, and though he has his reasons, it feels below his character. Still, there are some big moments in this season.
