Kelly Lawler USA Today Part silly, part sweet, the series was a great starting block for its appealing stars. Nov 10, 2021 Full Review Steven Hyden AV Club Don't look now but Chuck just might be on verge of settling into a groove of watchable, sorta funny spy entertainment. Rated: B- Jan 31, 2018 Full Review Katey Rich CinemaBlend I've gotten to see how all the pieces fit together, and how this charming show takes formulaic action plots and mixes them with geek comedy to create something entirely unique Rated: 4/5 Jan 11, 2018 Full Review Will Wade Common Sense Media Chuck is a completely improbable but highly entertaining romp through two worlds that rarely meet on TV: secret agents and high-tech nerds. Rated: 4/5 Apr 2, 2020 Full Review Megan Basham WORLD The inherent silliness of this setup could overwhelm a lesser actor, but Levi brings so much charm and likability to the titular character that the show works. Oct 12, 2018 Full Review Mark Pickavance Den of Geek So there you have it, Chuck. A fun and innovative show, created and staring highly talented people. J P Every season was great Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/20/24 Full Review Catherine B This page is not transcribing is correctly, so apart from commas and periods, there is no punctuation. This is an action spy show slash comedy. Very well made with gorgeous shots of L.A. and gorgeous actors. For the nerds out there, there are frequent references to sci fi and fantasy. Plus shout outs to classic movies, video games, and computer facts. Some references are obvious. Others are throw aways that establish the inside jokes of best friends Morgan and Chuck, while simultaneously bringing the audience in too. Brilliant. Zachary Levi is charming. He and the ensemble cast are funny and compelling to watch and care about. The first season is the most exciting one, but the characters make you want to stick around to find out what happens to them. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/20/24 Full Review B T Great show. Fun. Great entertainment. Great actors Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/25/23 Full Review St R A great action comedy! The cast is brilliant. Levi is awesome. Baldwin is legit! And I will forever compare every leading lady with Strahovski; she's a brilliant actress with mad skills as an action lead and the love story she tells with Levi is compelling and inspiring. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/06/23 Full Review Izaac A A fine example of early 21st century television. Chuck is a high-concept series that delivers on its promise of being entertaining through stellar character development. Overall story for this season is partly lacking, however. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/30/23 Full Review Dee T Loved this show!! Didn't like the ending though. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
