A dedicated group of forensic investigators at the Las Vegas Crime Lab works to solve often-grisly crimes in Sin City. Heading up the graveyard shift (an appropriate term in this case) is supervisor D.B. Russell, a "Left Coast" Sherlock Holmes who devours crime novels. Members of Russell's team include Julie Finlay, Nick Stokes, Sara Sidle (the team's moral compass), Greg Sanders and Morgan Brody. The investigative team works closely with Capt. Jim Brass -- a seasoned detective who is a protector of CSI -- Dr. Al Robbins -- medical examiner -- and quirky lab technician David Hodges. Previous leaders of the group include Gil Grissom and Dr. Ray Langston.

Audience Member This is good show. This show is ranked #7 on my list. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member the recent episodes i have seen make me realize how lazy the writers have gotten. besides adding interesting phycological turmoil to the criminals that commit the crimes they have a very basic one dimensional criminal with a very idiotic back story. i can basically sum up a lot of criminals backstories on the show: greed, they had a fetish for it, it was man slaughter, they were jealous, Etc. it gets WAY to repetitive, and the worst thing about it is they could have so many possibilities with these criminals! but NO! they have boring criminals who right away confess to the crime. i dont like the characters that much either. hell! i cant even remember they're names. heres some advise to the CSI writers, GET OFF YOUR LASY BUTTS AND START WRITING LIKE PROFESSIONALS!
