Dexter Morgan is a Miami-based blood splatter expert who doesn't just solve murders; he commits them too. In fact, he's a serial killer -- but he only murders the guilty, so he feels justified with his lifestyle choices. His policewoman sister and his cop co-workers have no idea Dexter lives a double life; however, adoptive father Harry knows his secret, and does, in fact, help Dexter hone his "skills." It's a unique brand of justice for which charming Dexter feels a psychological hunger.

Audience Member Watching Dexter, someone who was typically portrayed as a lone individual, form an unexpected bond with someone was a compelling twist that kept me engaged. In contrast to the previous two seasons, which primarily focused on identifying the serial killer of the time, this season shifted its attention to Dexter's developing friendship. Overall, it was a captivating season worth watching. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/02/25 Full Review Audience Member Not the best but not the worst.. This season is quite lackluster but does have some meaning to it as Miguel tries to form a duo with Dexter, Dexter tries to teach Miguel on how to kill but when does Miguel over uses his power of killing and kills someone of innocence and just doing a job. In this season though it doesn't really grab me. Still good to watch but not the best. You'd have to kind of force your self to watch untill the last couple episodes.
