Hanna is an extraordinary girl who has been raised in the forest, evading the relentless pursuit of an off-the-book CIA agent. This series -- part high-concept thriller, part coming-of-age drama -- follows the girl on her journey as she tries to unearth the truth behind who she is. "Hanna" is based on the 2011 film of the same name that starred Oscar-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan in the title role.

John Doyle Globe and Mail Both seasons of Hanna amount to an excellent binge-watch. The turning, twisting storyline shifts with laser precision, and the complex relationship between the faux-mother/daughter team of Marissa and Hanna is nicely developed. Jul 21, 2020 Full Review Steve Greene IndieWire "Hanna" finds space in Season 2 for a flurry of fantastic performances that fill out the murky, grey area surrounding Hanna herself. Rated: B+ Jul 13, 2020 Full Review Laura Bogart AV Club Hanna season two is still more of a spy thriller than a fractured fairy tale-but freed from the need to tell the same story, it evolves into something more thoughtful and compelling. Rated: B Jun 26, 2020 Full Review Dale McGarrigle TV Fanatic That's how you jam pack the back end of a season. Rated: 4.75/5 Jul 9, 2020 Full Review Kevin Lever Tell-Tale TV It's a worthy sequel season, and one that delivers some intriguing, exciting thriller fare. Rated: 3.5/5 Jul 6, 2020 Full Review David Griffin IGN Movies Farr has proven once again that there is plenty more to explore in the Hannaverse if Amazon gives him more seasons to play with. Gary B Not as good as the first season. These global conspiracy thrillers ask you believe a lot. This one expects us to believe a bunch of girls raised in complete emotional isolation could somehow blosson in a few weeks into fairly normal teenagers. Big stretch. And none of the actresses, save Miles as Hanna, lend credence to the idea that they could be assasins. Stretching credulity to the limit. Hope season 3 is better. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/21/24 Full Review KerryWhite's S Rating: 7/10. 79/100 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/07/23 Full Review Drew L I didn't think it was possible, especially because most reviewers said to hang in for Season 2, but it was worse than Season 1. Horrible writing and completely nonsensical motives for the characters. Totally cringey TV. I will be skipping Season 3 and thank the lorts they did not renew this horrible show. What an injustice to the movie. Smdh. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/23/23 Full Review Gareth v The 2nd season of Hanna is an improvement over season 1 due to the narrowing of it's focus when it comes to the story and getting away from being just a run and chase show. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Best season of the 3. I am a bigtime Hanna fan and this season was everything for me start to finish up there with the likes of James Bourne, hope she gets her own movie soon.
