Tim "The Toolman" Taylor, host of the home-improvement show "Tool Time," definitely is not as handy at home as he is on screen. He and his wife, Jill, raise three boys who are racing toward adulthood. The Taylor family often relies on next-door neighbor Wilson, who provides unconventional wisdom and perspective to the Taylors' personal and familial crises.

Robert H This season, Tim (Tim Allen) is still up to his usual antics, trying to outdo his neighbor Wilson (Earl Hindman) and getting into all sorts of wacky misadventures. But what's great about Season 5 is that the show's writers have really honed in on the characters' quirks and personalities. Jill (Patricia Richardson) is still the voice of reason in the Taylor household, but this season she's got her own set of storylines that showcase her independence and wit. Whether she's dealing with her own career aspirations or trying to navigate the challenges of parenting, Jill's character feels more fully realized than ever. Brad (Zachery Ty Bryan), Randy (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), and Mark (Taran Noah Smith) are all getting older, and their storylines are reflecting that. Whether they're dealing with puberty, peer pressure, or just trying to navigate the ups and downs of adolescence, the Taylor kids are relatable and endearing. One of the things that's always made Home Improvement so great is the cast's chemistry. Tim Allen and Patricia Richardson have a warm and believable rapport as Tim and Jill, and the kids' interactions with each other and their parents feel authentic and natural. Season 5 of Home Improvement is a fantastic addition to the series. With its wacky humor, relatable characters, and lighthearted storylines, it's a must-watch for fans of the show.
