Ailsa M A jarring disconnect from Season 1. May stand on its own feet as an independent series but doesn't build well on the established dynamic. Your loyalty to the show may depend on which story you wanted to see continued. The pace, mood and characters have changed - it moves from an emotional journey to a thriller, more fast-paced action series. The production rules from Season 1 no longer seem to apply and it becomes more of a traditional show (no more changing of screen ratio) - a bit like watching a season of 24. It doesn't ruin the series, but it does detract from some of the production quality of the first Season 1 - watch it to get closure for Series 1, but it won't be as satisfying - the ending was a bit ridiculous - nobody thought it was a bit suspicious that the "drink" they all decided to have at the party was red? I've never been to a party where everyone who is drinking different drinks (beer, wine, etc.) suddenly decides to change and start drinking a weird red beverage out of a steel mug!
