Kyle Anderson Entertainment Weekly At this point, with Davis at the front, How to Get Away With Murder can get away with just about anything it wants. Rated: A- Sep 25, 2015 Full Review Lesley Brock Paste Magazine I would not put it past How to Get Away with Murder, which has turned all other ABC show plot lines upside down on their heads and shown that nothing is impossible, to throw incest into an already haphazard mix. Rated: 9.0/10 Nov 9, 2015 Full Review Samantha Kaye TV Equals It's an even more tangled web than before, and I'm curious if Pete Nowalk and company will be able to continue to weave a coherent picture while maintaining the cuckoo bananas pace. Angel C “Darker, Twister, and Even More Addictive!” Season 2 of How to Get Away with Murder takes everything fans loved about the first season and cranks it up to eleven. With higher stakes, darker twists, and a deeper dive into the characters’ complex lives, this season cements the show as one of the best legal thrillers of all time. Viola Davis continues to command the screen as the brilliant yet deeply flawed Annalise Keating. Her Emmy-worthy performance delivers raw emotion and intensity, making Annalise more compelling than ever. The rest of the cast steps up as well, with Jack Falahee (Connor), Karla Souza (Laurel), and Alfred Enoch (Wes) shining in increasingly nuanced roles. Their characters are pushed to their limits this season, and their evolution adds depth to the already captivating story. Season 2 masterfully balances the tension between past and present with its signature flashback and flash-forward structure. The murder of Rebecca and the case surrounding the Hapstall family bring an added layer of mystery, while secrets from Annalise’s past come back to haunt her in shocking and devastating ways. Just when you think you’ve figured things out, the show hits you with another jaw-dropping twist. The writing remains razor-sharp, diving deeper into themes of loyalty, betrayal, and survival. The show explores the moral gray areas of its characters, making them both relatable and unpredictable. The stakes feel higher than ever, with each episode ending on a cliffhanger that leaves you desperate to hit “play” on the next. Season 2 isn’t just a continuation—it’s an escalation. The storytelling, acting, and suspense are on another level, making this a must-watch for anyone who loves gripping dramas. Rating: 10/10 – A thrilling, heart-stopping ride that will leave you hooked from start to finish! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/25 Full Review Stephen D Characters make bad unrealistic decisions and have outbursts that make this show painful to watch Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/02/23 Full Review Mark M Well the first series was excellent but they should have ended it then. This second series is turning into a South American soap opera. Far too many part sex scenes. HIV is dealt with but no mention of super gonorrhoea, syphillis, chlamydia, hpv to mention a few other stds! Shame. it's gone way over the top. Doesn't portray the US Justice system well either, with constant backroom ‘deals' being done by the state. I'm on episode 5 and don't think I can stomach any more. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/27/23 Full Review Regal R 0/100 - So bad i started watching it at 2x speed just to get through it. Trying to watch with an open mind is difficult considering what filth this is. The only redeeming quality this show has a semi decent score. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/13/22 Full Review tom m The same level of quality as season 1. While they are still using the rapid, annoying vignettes, it isn't as much as in season 1. The cascading stupid/bad decisions of the central characters is beginning to get annoying. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!! Captivating, intelligent, controversial, FANTASTIC! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
