Carol Midgley Times (UK) Inside No 9 is consistently so very, very good. Rated: 4/5 Mar 10, 2020 Full Review Michael Hogan Daily Telegraph (UK) This macabre tale of mental illness was the weakest installment of the year so far. Even so, the rare misfire still packed in more imaginative ideas than many entire series. Rated: 3/5 Mar 2, 2020 Full Review Camilla Long Times (UK) The best bit, when Steve Pemberton's character described another of the referees as "Linesman Minnelli" for his habit of crying through eyeliner, made me feel better was to come. Feb 7, 2020 Full Review Becky Kukla The Digital Fix Shearsmith and Pemberton completely nail the writing and dialogue... Feb 7, 2020 Full Review Louisa Mellor Den of Geek Come on in, [the premiere] says. Character, plot, pace, structure, more plot, laughs, surprises... Watch us make this stuff look easy. They do make it look easy. Feb 4, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member So glad I got Britbox, every season is brilliantly written, acted, and set. Each tale is a twisted mix of comedy, suspense, and horror. Characters from their other series, Psychoville, appear throughout the series. Steve and Reece have imaginations that rival Rod Serling and play each of their roles with 100% dedication and creativity. Each season's tale is exceptional, and a must see if you are into the macabre. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
