The presence of Jessica Williams as Marcus’ long-running will-they-or-won’t-they certainly doesn’t hurt. Real and believable situations that many of city people can relate to - especially in a racially balanced modern metropolis that could almost be in any world city. Thank you to the writers and actors who made this series a true reflection of our collective lives. To the people giving low reviews, sorry you are still mired in racial segregation of what to your narrow minded views you find acceptable and unacceptable. Look in the mirror of your comments. I just couldn’t help but think what if it was the other way round? And there was a whole series of white people talking about being white and googling "ugly" black babies. Season 2 of Love Life improves on the first season with better acting from the lead, but there are still some shaky performances. The writing is just as good as the past season, but it is generally predictable. The season starts off strong but fades near the end and has multiple episodes that are flat out boring. Overall, I would recommend the second season of Love Life to fans of the first season, but this season won't win any new converts.
