If it can avoid becoming a weekly half-hour of poop and butt jokes, there's a lot of room here for Buscemi and Radcliffe to lean all the way into the absurdity and have a lot of fun.

"Hittin' the Trail" has a lot on its plate in terms of setting up Oregon Trail, but even compared to previous season debuts, Oregon Trail doesn't have the same sharp playfulness or solid joke density.

Good fun series featuring Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi, with each series spanning a different era, starting with a present day workplace, medieval times, the wild west and ending up in a post apocalyptic world. One to be enjoyed with your brain being fully switched off.

This season is hilarious, too. Daniel Radcliffe really commits in one of the funniest scenes in the series. No wonder "Weird Al" Yankovic chose him to play a parody of Al in "Weird".
