What to Know

Critics Consensus

It's completely preposterous and entirely too much, but Panic is never less than entertaining, no matter how far off the rails it flies.

Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald The series has a good idea and an engaging young cast, but it's hard to see it sustaining 10 episodes. Jun 7, 2021 Full Review Cody Corrall Chicago Reader Panic is a nail-biter of a series that, even with a familiar formula, goes to unexpected places. It's as dramatic and pastiche as any teenage media ought to be... Jun 5, 2021 Full Review Phil Owen TheWrap If you're the type who can vibe out with a trashy teen drama, "Panic" might just be the show for you. Jun 2, 2021 Full Review Michael Cuby them. A gripping tale of class strife and thrilling danger, Panic is a guaranteed instant hit. Sep 27, 2022 Full Review Steve Murray ArtsATL There are so many twists and reversals that by the end, Panic can no longer spring back into coherent narrative shape. Jul 1, 2021 Full Review Audrey Fox We Live Entertainment Panic has its share of flaws, but if you're in the market for a compulsively watchable teen drama that doesn't require much intellectual commitment from the viewer, it might just be the perfect summer show. Selathea A They need to make a season 2. The only reason the ratings aren't as high as it could be is because no one knows about it. It took me a while to find something amazing as this show. They just need to advertise it more on Tiktok, YouTube, Instagram, ECT. This was a masterpiece in my book. The plot, the twists, the characters, the chemistry...just everything made me want to binge-watch the is whole series. Now I'm said it's over, but it doesn't have to be. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/02/25 Full Review Taylor S We should’ve gotten a second season. It was a good binge. I finished the show in two days. The show was a bit predictable. I saw some of the ending coming but not in the way that I expected, so that was an interesting twist. I definitely was invested in Heather and Ray’s relationship and the show left many questions unanswered. (Sidenote: Olivia Scott Welch’s facial expressions are very Julia Stiles coded to me). I think they could’ve improved some flaws in the second season and made this a great show with every season being a new class of graduating seniors and new characters to become invested in. I feel like all the ingredients are there, the showrunners just gave up on the recipe too soon. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/16/25 Full Review Jeremy A Some horrible acting. Lots of people you don't care about. Weak "challenges". The ending was fine. 3* Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/01/24 Full Review green eyed r Mike Faist is soooo hot omg please him as a cowboy >>>>> Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/09/24 Full Review todd t This show was a Non-Stop thrill Ride for all 10 episodes I couldn't stop watching I had to binge the entire series in one day why they're not making a second season I do not know it was a brilliant show it was well written or else well made and I'm really sad there's not going to be another season WHOEVER MADE THAT DECISION PLEASE RECONSIDER Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/24 Full Review Mark C Such a bad ending. The CGI Tiger was terrible. Easy to guess who the bad guy behind it all was early on. Poor acting and no chemistry between the couples. Lots of plot holes and needless scenes to drag this out for 10 episodes. Poor Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Read all reviews
