Conan O'Brien is among the executive producers of this late-night variety program that should benefit viewers, from O'Brien himself -- or more accurately, his popular TBS talk show that immediately precedes "The Pete Holmes Show." The Monday-Thursday series, which is taped before a studio audience, features comic Pete Holmes and packs in-studio guest interviews, sketches, video pieces and stand-up comedy into a fast-paced half hour. Holmes is also the host of the well-received podcast "You Made It Weird," but he may be more recognizable for something else: He provides the voice of the talking baby in the award-winning ad campaign for a financial services company.

Kevin McFarland AV Club The Pete Holmes Show takes bits and pieces from the late night stable in order to formulate a breezy new concoction. Rated: B+ May 13, 2020 Full Review Bryan Wallace Paste Magazine Setting aside the few premiere blues, it is hard not to root for the guy because he is so darn likable. Rated: 7/10 May 13, 2020 Full Review Jason Tabrys Screen Rant It's quite clear that unlike other shows, The Pete Holmes Show is not fully-formed or aware of what it wants to be when it grows up, but there is potential and some comedy surrounding these growing pains. May 13, 2020 Full Review Betsy Sherman Arts Fuse If The Pete Holmes Show succeeds, it will be because its host is not deluded into thinking there's a path to comedy perfection. In those nimble rubber soles and with a light touch, he'll be open to the weirdness in each moment. Oct 27, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Really bad show. Don't waste your time. Not sure how this guy even got a show to begin with, but he definitely isn't funny. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Pete was a good host. The world just wasn't ready quite yet. TBS could've marketed it a bit better. Alas, adios.
