Patrick W Trash. The writing, plot and ending was trash. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/25 Full Review Adaora G ii started off loving this film, but it grew weirder and weirder and the character more unlikable. Saying the characters were unlikable is even generous. It became so confusing and so irrelevant that the only thing I found relevant by episode seven season three was the conversation and for that imma give it two stars. the story was so fucking unbelievable that every episode from season two was a struggle. it feels like the writer more concerned in extending the story than creating rich characters. so there's disloyalty in the family but even the director doesnt take advantage of mise en scene to make the consequences seem real. Cain is just a dumb ass fool but he is struggling to show it especially when he becomes "the boss". dont even get me started on her mother and Tariq. I could see through the nitty gritties, the line breaks that don't even seem natural at all they were so fucking annoying. somehow all the characters that made sense apart from Effie are all killed off. zeeke, mecca, lorenzo. it just doesn't sit right. I loooooved Book III raising Kanan. i watched book III before watching this one and was hoping i'd enjoy it but naah. such a pass of my time i dont even think id give time to force. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/17/23 Full Review Lloyd S Less interesting than the first book. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/27/23 Full Review Big d All 50cent shows are must see 📺 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I was so surprised when I saw the ratings. Almost a little offended for the creators. I felt bad for the director, writer, producers, actors, etc., because this show was amazing! Tariq's acting was gripping, realistic, and sincere! He honestly deserves an award! Some people think his acting didn't portray enough emotion, but I disagree with that statement! He killed his father, and now he's a bonafide thug and lost all empathy/emotion the second he murdered his father to stay out of jail. The only kind of people who do that is sociopaths, which explains the void/black hole in his heart and soul. That's why his acting makes sense. It's realistic, logical, and genuine. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing follow up enjoyable story and characters only problem is slightly repetitive.
