The cast is stacked with amazing performers, which is required in stories that have a lot of dialogue and emotion. Jake Gyllenhaal elevated this due to his intensity. I hope Jake does more shows in the future. The music and sound is perfect, just really gets you amped for the scenes. And I liked what they did with the ending, no spoilers obviously. I was a bit worried that they were going to do what they were setting up to do, but then a nice shift happened which was relieving. It's a pretty intelligent show with a lot of twists, like the movie and just like court cases are. Finished the show pretty fast, which shows you my intrigue. And a big thanks to the yous! Still, even with the ending, I feel it could have been saved if the happy-family ending wasn't tacked on. Here's how to set up season two: 1. The wife grows a pair and has torrid sex with the bartender art major 2. Tommy Molto receives a video of Rusty's car when the fireplace poker was planted. 3. The daughter flips out and leaves home. 4. Rusty is seen alone in his dark den, sobbing over a picture of Carolyn. 5. We see Caroline's identical twin sister getting off a train in Chicago; in her hotel room, we see that she has packed a gun.
