Amateur fashion stylists and designers compete to craft the best possible clothes while attempting to cope with various thematic, material and time constraint challenges. Challenges include fresh takes on materials like fake fur and concepts like the classic cocktail dress, a color-themed team challenge, and one where the competitors are in charge of dressing stars of another reality show. Having been on the air since 2004, "Project Runway" has provided some professional designers, including Christian Siriano and Leanne Marshall, launching points for their careers.

Kathy M STOP the high school behavior with SCREAMING every time they enter a room or have a drink or pick a model. It’s MADDENING! And what’s with “I want someone who looks like me” that everyone is so hyper focused on. It’s sooooo excessive. And all the “nipple” talk??? Such an attempt at an attention grab. This show went straight downhill. I used to watch closely, now I find myself barely paying attention. And can Chasity PLEASE STOP singing her responses. The music in the finale made the show so drab and boring. No energy at all. What a decline. This show changed for the worse. Awful. Again, stop the continual screaming! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/08/25 Full Review Jan B It is all about drama, but the clothes.... not so much. Project Runway used to give some insight in the creative process, this season seems to be all about people shouting at eachother and 'being brave' for celebrating their heritage.
