Shawn Spencer happens to possess some uncanny powers of observation thanks to his father, Henry, a former police officer who taught his son to remember even the smallest details of his surroundings. When Shawn is accused of committing a crime that he actually solved, he convinces the cops that he's a psychic -- and with the reluctant help of best friend Gus, Shawn starts solving cases for a skeptical but increasingly impressed police force.

Ken Tucker Entertainment Weekly Much as I tried to muster enthusiasm, I have to say: This was one cheesy season send-off. Jan 11, 2018 Full Review Emily St. James AV Club I suppose a lot of that is entirely due to Roday. If you can get behind what he's doing here, you probably love this show. Brayden M Each season of Psych is equally as entertaining as the one prior. The amount of pop culture references and comedic aspects makes rewatchability endless. James Roday Rodrigues and Dule Hill make a great duo and each episode with Woody is 10x as enjoyable. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/23/25 Full Review Elena G The show continues to ride a high with strong episodes, storylines, and guest stars. For loyal Psych watchers, it's another success. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/15/25 Full Review David W I've loved each series of this. It's been consistently hilarious, superbly plotted and with a fantastic cast of lovable characters all played beautifully by the superb cast. Brilliant. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/25 Full Review Mark M Excellent writing of this comedy drama. What is rather unrealistic is how unpleasant Lassiter is to Sean and Gus even though they have an astonishing case clear-up percentage, helping the SBPD. OK it’s all unrealistic but fun. This is the ultimate feel-good series. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/25 Full Review Brian G Quote from entertainment weekly, "Much as I tried to muster enthusiasm, I have to say: This was one cheesy season send-off. " WOW! this tool just does NOT GET what slapstick humor, veiled humor, and also insulting humor is like when you find a way to do all three in a comedy series! PLEASE, just watch from the start, if by episode one you are not hooked, and did not make it thru episode two, then sure, this show is not for you! BUT if you liked episode one, there are very VERY few bad episodes in the whole series. PLUS, those of you that pay attention to these shows are in for one HELL of an Easter Egg in the shows final episode! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/29/24 Full Review Jane P You won't find a funnier show that's always fresh and original despite so many seasons and movies. Gus and Shawn have so much chemistry which makes it that much better, the whole cast do. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
