The six hourlong episodes deep-dive into the stories, people and events that have transformed the world of comic books. Among those featured in interviews are Stan Lee, Patty Jenkins, Lynda Carter, Kevin Smith, Famke Janssen, J.K. Simmons, Michelle Rodriguez, and Todd McFarlane, among many others.

James C Great to see the artists, creators, and historians weighing in. Of course, a great one has his name on the series. A secret that was revealed just in this 21st century: comic books are a great American art form. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/25/24 Full Review Audience Member I started collecting comics in the 1970s. This series is incredibly informative, well thought out and the best documentary by far I have ever seen on the subject. Episodes actually affected me emotionally at times. It is a must watch for anyone who considers themself a fan of comic books and their history. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm biased. I'm in the 4th episode! But it's still a great show. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
