Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson, a Los Angeles S.W.A.T. lieutenant, is assigned to lead a highly skilled unit in the community where he grew up. Torn between loyalty to the streets, where the cops are sometimes the enemy, and allegiance to his brothers in blue, he strategically straddles the two worlds. Hondo encourages his team to rely on communication and respect over force and aggression, but when a crisis erupts, these unflinching men and women are prepared to put their tactical training to the test. Jasper H SWAT is one of the most realistic yet entertaining law enforcement, military, and combat TV shows out there. The new season definitely got off to an intense start in Thailand. Everything felt authentic in the first episode, with a storyline that was shockingly original and a plot that was gripping to watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/13/23 Full Review Katy R I was excited about SWAT years ago but life happened and I never had time to watch. Now I have a little more time and decided to start from the beginning. Season 1-3 were awesome. I had a hard time turning it off to go to bed. Season 4 is so "woke" and racial - I can barely stand it. I keep fast forwarding to the action parts and hoping the next episode will be better. Starting episode 7 now. So far no luck. From the reviews it doesn't look like it will get better (at least this season). Sad. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/19/23 Full Review Colin H Swat is a good show but there is just way too much of it about the colour of people's skin to the point of obsession with this as a story line Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/12/22 Full Review bruce a I enjoyed series 1 to 3 but 4 went very woke, pro George Floyd, taking the knee, reparations (despite African tribsl leaders selling their own people into slavery), its "tough living black" etc etc. Very victimhood. There was over emphasis on white, Nazi supremacists wearing US flags to cover faces. When the Chinese Amerixan said "their times nearly up" referring to white power, the bi cop said she'd do all she can to make it happe. It became tedious to filter out the leftist anti white bias. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review chris l It's painful to watch. The writers are racist perverts. I feel bad for everyone else in the show that made it a success the first couple of seasons. Total trash now, watch something else like Bosch. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Swat - along with many other series I have enjoyed- was just a crockpot of woke soup this season. The show became secondary to the writers agenda and the whole season felt forced. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
