Sabrina Spellman is a teenager with magical powers who comes from a long line of witches. Until going away to college, she lived with her wacky aunts, who would teach her to use her witchcraft wisely, and Salem, the talking black cat, who always has a scheme up his paw. As a high-school student, Sabrina is less judicious about using her powers than when she enters adulthood. The series is based on a 1960s comic-book series of the same name and an animated TV series that originally aired in the 1970s.

Ken Tucker Entertainment Weekly And Sabrina is junk TV at its liveliest, with a gratifyingly strong pair of female role models in Sabrina's foster-parenting witch aunts (Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick). Rated: B+ May 18, 2018 Full Review Thomas Hine New York Times Throughout the current season, ''Sabrina the Teen-Age Witch'' is dealing indirectly and generally approvingly with legal and bureaucratic limits on teen-agers' freedom. Audience Member I was way too old to be watching this show when it came out, and yet I was watching this show when it came out, and now I watch it with my kid even though we've seen every episode a million times. The writing was really excellent on this show, since I'm not a huge sitcom person. With smart contributors like Frank Conniff who worked on "Mystery Science Theater 3000", the show is still funny today, and has lots of great guest stars, including Penn & Teller. We loved Sabrina until it gets into her college years and a bit iffy, but overall a good run. My kid and I were super excited for what Netflix was gonna do with Sabrina, and watched a minute of "The New" and were horrified. It was impossible for us to imagine Sabrina this way, and we've never returned. We weren't expecting a sitcom, but, a beyond-dark-Sabrina was not what we were looking for. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Not as good as the first season. But, I like the edition of The Quiz master. I liked most of the episodes, and it was decent. Just, it could have been a bit better. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
