Samantha Newly, the young vice president of a real-estate firm, is forced to start life over after a horrific hit-and-run accident leaves her with amnesia. As she reconnects with acquaintances in her old life, however, Sam is disconcerted to discover that she apparently was a self-centered, narcissistic witch with no successful relationships to speak of. But she wants to be good now, so she sets out to make amends with friends and family, including off-again, on-again girlfriend to roommate and ex-boyfriend Todd.

Noel Murray The Verge The advantage of Samantha Who?'s premise is that it allows Applegate to play a hilariously terrible person in flashbacks. May 8, 2019 Full Review Mandi Bierly Entertainment Weekly I'm not sure it's possible for someone who was on Designing Women to be underrated, but [Jean] Smart is a gem. She can play drunk, she can play pain, and she can play everything in between. Nov 15, 2018 Full Review Ray Richmond The Hollywood Reporter The sitcom has a breezy style that plays perfectly to Applegate's strengths... The eyes still sparkle. The spirit remains effervescent. The lady clearly is unsinkable -- and fearless. Nov 15, 2018 Full Review Sierra Filucci Common Sense Media While Samantha Who? doesn't shake the tired sitcom format, it still provides plenty of lightweight laughs. Rated: 3/5 Nov 15, 2018 Full Review Kevin Carr 7M Pictures "Samantha Who?" had a strange instance of hitting a stride in the second season and bogging down at the same time. On the positive side, the characters did find their places better, and this is the real charm of this second season. Rated: 3/5 Nov 15, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
