Mystery Incoporated succeeds to create a whole story around its iconic characters and to give them stronger personalities. The characters are even evolve during this first season which is very new for the franchise. This show doesn't shy away to get weird not only with the monsters, the humor but also with the relationship between the characters. It can be a little off-putting to follow the love between Velma and Sammy and how Sammy doesn't want Scooby-Doo to be jealous but it's so out of place that it actually works at get your attention. The bigger story arc. behind the self-contained mysteries by episode, is pretty interesting but since it's dispersed in 26 episodes, you really get a small piece of information here and there before knowing the whole thing. Excellent humor too and some spooky stuff maybe the more horrific the franchise has ever been (don't expect too much though. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/13/23 Full Review Kenny R Fantastic.
