Socially awkward high school student Otis may not have much experience in the lovemaking department, but he gets good guidance on the topic in his personal sex ed course -- living with mom Jean, who is a sex therapist. Being surrounded by manuals, videos and tediously open conversations about sex, Otis has become a reluctant expert on the subject. When his classmates learn about his home life, Otis decides to use his insider knowledge to improve his status at school, so he teams with whip-smart bad girl Maeve to set up an underground sex therapy clinic to deal with their classmates' problems. But through his analysis of teenage sexuality, Otis realizes that he may need some therapy of his own.

Drew Gregory Autostraddle Sex Education keeps getting better because it approaches storytelling the way it teaches us to approach sex - with curiosity, excitement, and a willingness to learn. Nov 17, 2021 Full Review Wenlei Ma News.com.au This colourful, honest and non-judgmental series doesn't treat sex with kid gloves or mince words with euphemisms. Nov 2, 2021 Full Review Scott Bryan BBC.com I was completely blown away by how much this show has changed from its very first episode. This is the best show on Netflix right now. Oct 6, 2021 Full Review Mini Anthikad-Chhibber The Hindu All that we have come to love from the show is there in spades; the warmth, tenderness, humour (the sacred and profane), and believable characters that we instinctively invest in Sep 25, 2023 Full Review Scarlett Harris Fatherly Sex Education is hilarious and cringeworthy at times but in centering the experiences of diverse students it encourages viewers to employ empathy when dealing with the myriad locations people fall on the sexuality spectrum. Jul 28, 2023 Full Review Michael Cuby them. While season three, which dives into somewhat more serious territory, is easily the show’s most tonally distinct, nothing has been lost in the way of its upbeat charm and uplifting sex positivity — and for that, who can complain? Alex F A brilliantly refreshing series that tackles taboo topics with humor, heart, and an insightful perspective on teenage sexuality. The sharp writing, and mix of emotional depth with comedy make it a must-watch for anyone looking for an honest and entertaining take on growing up. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/25 Full Review Audience Member Incredible season, this season hooks you, the school has new strict rules that make students uncomfortable since they had great freedom in many aspects and finding something that retains them to "freedom" they could find it very threatening, the "villain" made me hate her and I felt sorry for her, the fact that I feel something means that this actress achieved the task of her character, giving anger and sorrow for what is happening with her. We were able to observe more about the relationship between Otis and Maeve since they are finally together but they can't because of other people with whom they are also related. I found the trip different but not so bad, it was an escape to the daily and it worked for them but I didn't like what happened with Rahim, a good character and they waste it like that? That event was more than unnecessary, it was disgusting but it looks very good (in some way) with the series. But this season teaches us a lot, no one should be ashamed of what they have, what they are and what they think they are without taking into account the opinion of other people who will try to make you feel small. The best season of all Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/25 Full Review Jens B I hated the evil head teacher storyline but everything else is very good, funny, and heartfelt. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/24/24 Full Review Diego B Lose power after the 2th season, but it still good Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/07/24 Full Review Naitik B Best with 1 ,2, and 4 seasons of it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/24 Full Review Will S Another stellar edition to the Sex Education storyline.
