Oscar-nominated actor William H. Macy stars as Frank Gallagher, a single father of six who spends much of his free time drinking at bars. The Gallagher children -- led by oldest daughter Fiona (Emmy Rossum), who takes on much of the child-rearing responsibility due to her mother's absence -- manage to raise themselves in spite of Frank's lack of parenting and unusual parenting style when he does choose to act like a father. The drama is an adaptation of the BAFTA Award-winning British show of the same name.

The finale is actually a pretty apt metaphor for communities in transition periods. It raises the question of who actually benefits from amenities and development, even if it doesn't answer those questions completely, and there's poignance in that.

I love this show, messy flaws, brazen outrageousness, frenetic pacing, offensive story lines, hyper-farcical turns and all. It's not a Breaking Bad or a Mad Men, a pair of near-perfect specimens, but it has the kind of humanity that inspires my devotion.

Worst last season I have ever seen in my life. Just shameless how they brutally killed their own success. The one before was already unwatchable but this last one is possibly even worse. Messy, thousands loose ends, sloppy and completely utterly lacking imagination. Unforgivable. Many complain about Franck's ending which is fine by me but 11 seasons would have given them the time and opportunity to do a so much better ending. Based on this result I can only conclude they either changed writers or the original one is in a serious depression. What a complete shame.

Man this Season showed me how much I love this Show and how fast and strong it grew on me this Season was definitely better than season 6 or 9 but I gotta say it was perfect ,Almost I wished we were getting Fiona back and I wished frank didn't died because he is one of the main characters and even tho he was a bad father ,the end really was emotional and even tho he was a bad father you got the feeling that even tho almost every kid hated him , he didn't hated all of his kids and was very proud of them , and I Loved the interaction that Liam did with frank and he was actually sad when frank didn't showed up and was worried about him, damn that end got even me emotional , what an amazing series , probably , not probably, it is the BEST Show I have watched , and if not it is definitely up there , from season 1 to 11 it never got boring or bad . I'm Definitely will watch it over and over again . I love it

Where’s Fiona??? The final season of Shameless left me feeling conflicted. It was bittersweet saying goodbye to the Gallagher family, but the absence of Fiona was glaring. She's Liam's guardian and the heart of the household, yet she's barely mentioned. Frank's farewell letter ignoring her just adds insult to injury. It felt inconsistent and left me wanting more closure for such a central character. Fiona raised her siblings, playing the roles of both mom and dad. It's baffling how the show seemed to forget her immense contributions and importance to the family dynamic. Her absence in the final season felt like a disservice to her character and everything she sacrificed for her siblings. Final seasons could have been so much better!!!
