When Ichabod Crane wakes up 250 years in the future, he must solve a mystery dating back to the founding fathers. Due to a blood spell cast on a battlefield during the Revolution, the infamous headless horseman is revived, along with Crane. When the murderous rider embarks on a bloody rampage in present-day Sleepy Hollow, Ichabod realizes that he must act quickly, because the headless horseman is only the first of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Shadow and Act Staff Shadow and Act Abbie does not portray a corny and tired tough cop persona but a strong, confident person, often scared by what she has to do yet moreso determined to do it right. Sep 15, 2022 Full Review Rose Maura Lorre New York Magazine/Vulture No surprise Sleepy Hollow is always at its best when its characters are made to face these formidable forks in the road. Rated: 5/5 Feb 22, 2019 Full Review Hillary Busis Entertainment Weekly Sleepy kicked off its second season with an episode nearly as action-packed and gloriously cheeky as last year's premiere. Feb 22, 2019 Full Review Holly Hogan Den of Geek One of the show's strong points is that it doesn't default onto the distractingly wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey... the plot is surprisingly linear, or at least logically paced. Feb 22, 2019 Full Review Tom Fitzgerald and Lorenzo Marquez Tom & Lorenzo Why Sleepy Hollow works: It's all about the leads. Jun 9, 2018 Full Review Blair Marnell CraveOnline This isn't a perfect show, but it has become a very fun series to watch. Rated: 8/10 Sep 29, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews

Abi A Beside the fact that the whole series is not interesting… this season is so boring. Waste of time Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/09/24 Full Review Rian t I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/24/21 Full Review jon c Season 1 left off with so many revelations and shocking twists: Abbi was left in purgatory to face off against Moloch, Crane had freed his wife Katrina, the Sin Eater Henry Parish turned out to be their son, Jeremy who is also the second Horseman of the apocalypse, Irving confessed to killing some innocents to protect his handicapped daughter after she was possessed, and Abbi's sister was thwarted by the first Horseman from getting the sign to stop Moloch there were so many Biblical references with the creatures in each episode and traced back to our American history plus there were new major decisions by Paul Revere to George Washington now Season 2 looks to up the ante and the danger Abbi and Crane now have to find a key that opens the world of Purgatory that was discovered by Benjamin Franklin, the first Horseman has kidnapped Katrina, and Jenni gets much more of an active role this time a new sheriff also arrives who knew the Mills' mother and she's making things difficult for our heroes at the moment new threats arrive from the Pied Piper to a kindred to a cursed coin to a wendigo to the Salem Witch trials to a weeping lady to a book called the Grimoire Abbi and Crane also get occasional help from a collector named Hawley, he's in it for profit and for the kicks but slowly comes around Jeremy in the meantime is gathering his dark forces together by corrupting Irving's soul and tearing down Katrina from the inside, a society called the Hellfire Club is also after Katrina in service of Moloch all may not be lost yet as there lies a weapon that bring down Moloch once and for all but at a high cost things are then looking up halfway through this season but it's well-known our heroes are far from done keeping Sleepy Hollow safe; they even encounter a newcomer in the form of an angel named Orion during the finale 1 enemy finally falls but Katrina makes the most mind-blowing choice of all that could potentially alter the course of the entire series human trust is the only currency worth having, we don't fight monsters by creating them, marriage is a compromise and not just an institution, redemption is still possible, family still matters despite the shortcomings, the choices we make define us between duty and the right thing, and we can always alter the course of our lives it's refreshing too to see how each character grows from the Horseman to Katrina to Irving to Henry to Jenni another major player exits making for a somber end to a much better season and the most crucial battles still lie ahead for Icabod Crane, Abbi Mills and Sleepy Hollow still loving this so much! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Again with a great return, Sleepy Hollow makes a comeback with a well written pilot that surpasses all of its previous episodes. However, the apparent trend on focusing on Ichabod and rear-ending lieutenant Mills is beginning to become questionable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Francisco S Sleepy Hollow: Season 2 has a slight improvement comparing to the first season, the story is really well-written, unpredictable narrative with a lot of twists and turns, however Katrina's character is really stupid at the point to have only idiot decisions making this series less credible. Furthermore the last 2 episodes were brilliant comparing to the boring Moloch episodes that we've to watch to arrive to this point. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/20/15 Full Review Read all reviews
