An oddball family of employees at supersized megastore Cloud 9 tackles the day-to-day grind of rabid bargain hunters, riot-causing sales and nap-worthy training sessions. Stalwart employee Amy is just trying to hold it all together despite the best efforts of her daftly clueless manager Glen and his iron-fisted assistant Dina. Rounding out the crew is new hire Jonah, a dreamy dreamer, sardonic Garrett, ambitious Mateo and sweet young Cheyenne. From bright-eyed newbies to seen-it-all veterans, bumbling seasonal hires and in-it-for-life managers, they're all going to get through another day -- together. Read More Read Less

Allison Shoemaker AV Club Many a series, comedy or otherwise, has failed to successfully navigate the moment when its will-they-won't-they becomes an oh-there-they-go. but Not so for NBC's tenderhearted, thoughtful, and quietly subversive workplace comedy. Apr 8, 2020 Full Review Darren Franich Entertainment Weekly Employees wear matching blue vests and matching grimaces, caught between customers and corporate overseers. Sound dour? It's a riot. I live for sequences in the break room, when laugh lines pinball through the brilliant ensemble. Rated: A- Mar 12, 2019 Full Review Melanie McFarland Salon.com Superstore presents political and social issues to the audience with humanity, yet stealthily. Mar 11, 2019 Full Review Ben Lindbergh The Ringer Superstore may not get the same recognition as its contemporaries, but its blue-collar humor remains vital. Nov 10, 2020 Full Review Brett White Decider In terms of laughs per minute and laughs per character, no show comes close to touching Superstore's large cast. This is the biggest, funniest cast since The Office, and they are at the height of their power. Apr 6, 2020 Full Review Rachel Montpelier Culturess Forget the pipe dream of making the world a better place -- it's all about getting through the day without worrying ourselves into a stomach ache. Rest assured: there are moments in Superstore that will replenish your faith in humanity Apr 6, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

letaiser this and the 3rd season were the best Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/03/23 Full Review Andrei D Workplace comedy dar bine Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/23 Full Review Audience Member The comedy still never takes over the character relationships or timely social issues and actually leads to a nerve-shredding and emotional season finale. Its still always very funny but understands there has to be more to it to feel real and it does that exceptionally well. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review pen t And this is where the ball was dropped. I have no idea what happened to this daring and wonderful show but ever since season 4, they jumped the shark. It became so cringe-worthy to see other people fail and make them fail even more in a way that no human being would possibly do so, that it made BBC‘s „The Office" look like a happy-go-lucky-sitcom. This show had a wonderful chemistry and was great in itself, but once they shifted Amy to a different position, it all fell apart. It became a different show. I have endured to watch all six seaons and I can safely say that if you start to hate it in season 4: stop watching it, it will ruin your memories of a show that started of so well in the first three seasons. For lack of another word: it was painful, and I mean it, it was truly physically painful to watch several of the episode (of course the occasional lucky one was in there, but it was more miss than hit.) I truly have to say, that‘s one show I‘ll never watch again. And that‘s sad, because I really liked it in the beginning so much. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This is the way to cover woke topics! Even if you didn't agree with what someone said, it was at least funny to laugh along to. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member It still have the same vibe as previous seasons, showing the environment of a supermarket and work relations. After getting to know the characters, I can definitely say the two main characters (Amy and Jonah) are the most annoying in this show. Because they want to behave "by the book", they end up being obnoxious and boring. All the other characters are dysfunctional in a way, but that's what make them a lot more interesting.
