Ben Travers IndieWire Nothing about the show matches expectations, making it a confounding (and largely boring) viewing experience. Rated: D Mar 27, 2018 Full Review Robert Rorke New York Post While the target audience will probably dig the extensive action sequences and vivid violence, there's no reason anyone else should be "Taken" for a ride. Rated: 2.5/4 Mar 27, 2018 Full Review Graeme Virtue Guardian By the end of its second episode, Taken has constructed a convincing enough dramatic chassis for an ongoing series. Feb 28, 2017 Full Review Rob Lowman Los Angeles Daily News It's been made pretty ordinary. Too bad, Standen deserves to be shown off better. Mar 1, 2017 Full Review Glenn Garvin Reason Online There's plenty of slam-bang in Taken, NBC's distant prequel to the trilogy of films, but the result is less a buzz than a headache. Mar 1, 2017 Full Review Joyce Slaton Common Sense Media Death, guns, and constant mayhem in prequel to film series. Rated: 3/5 Feb 28, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I truly wish this show continued. I don't believe that maybe the public was ready for this type of show as much as now in 2025. The criminal series was quirky with characters and serious with others and some very intense government crimes delving into the mindset of those today questioning our government more than ever. It would do well today. I loved BOTH SEASONS and it's characters , however, I believe changing characters almost completely from. 1st to second season lost many viewers Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/25 Full Review Audience Member A slightly different take than the theatrical version. This one focuses on the past of Bryan Mills. At times it got ‘Jack Ryan' vibe, but the pace and direction remains flat. It is hard to be engaged in this series since the most interesting part of the franchise is the latter part as shown in the film (how he saved his daughter/ex wife/etc) | follow us at @uncle.review Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Very entertaining, not sure why the low scores. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member nice actors and plot Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Generally a subpar offering very no linkage at all to the films, even as prequel. The backstory and setup were also very thin with the hero displaying very little of the required skill set. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Great action series. Clive is awesome. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
