Compared to the gold of season 1, the a little sluggish but still great season 2, this really lost itself. It really baffles me because they could have created great plot lines but instead just make these pointless side stories. A lot of agenda filled fluff, don’t even get me started on how Ted is somehow painted as a bad guy by his ex wife who leaves him for the marriage counselor who encouraged them to separate! Absolutely disgusting.

(ENGLISH) Not all series settle for just entertaining; some achieve something more—they leave you with a lasting warmth. Ted Lasso is one of those rare gems. At a time when many comedies rely on sarcasm and irony, Ted Lasso dares to take a different path: kindness and optimism. And the best part? It does so effortlessly, with a warmth that feels genuine. It’s the kind of story that arrives just when you need it most.
Jason Sudeikis brings Ted to life, an American football coach who lands in England to manage a team without knowing a thing about the sport. Everything points to disaster, but his outlook on life and his ability to connect with others end up making all the difference. What starts as a crazy idea turns into a story about empathy, second chances, and the power of human connection—beyond any scoreboard.
But the series doesn’t rely solely on its protagonist. Ted Lasso strikes a balance between humor and deeper moments, tackling themes like the pressure of success, fear of failure, and mental health, all while maintaining the warmth that makes it special. Plus, the supporting characters have their own weight and development, adding layers to the story rather than making it entirely dependent on Ted.
It’s true that in this third season, some dynamics may feel repetitive, and at times it plays it safe. Even so, its essence remains intact. It doesn’t need shocking twists or complex plots to be engaging—what truly sustains it is the affection you develop for its characters and the connection they establish with the audience.
In the end, Ted Lasso is not just a show about football. It’s a reminder that kindness and empathy can make a difference. This season may not have the same impact as the first, but it’s still a story worth watching and sharing.

I’m not a big fan of sports theme in series and films so I wasn’t expecting to enjoy Ted Lasso to the fullest. This amazingly thought-provoking, cheerful and gripping series that brilliantly combines humor with genuine, real emotions and will not leave anyone indifferent.
Set in England (mostly in Richmond), the series tells the story of an American football coach, ted lasso, played by Jason Sudeikis, who was invited to train a struggling English soccer team, AFC Richmond. Despite having a little knowledge about soccer, Ted approaches the challenge with endless optimism, kindness to everyone that leads perfectly to different twists and turns.
What stands out is that main actor, Jason Sudeikis, and half of the cast were both screenwriters and directors of the series. I think, it makes “Ted Lasso” more alive. The show lives up to its characters. Each member of the cast brings their depth, honesty and feature to each episode. It makes viewers be imbued with each character. The script is sharp, with intelligent and theoretically simple dialogues that also balance moment which could crack you up with relevant themes like friendship, faith, mental issues, relationship and resilience. Sometimes it may be naive, but the show doesn’t lose its charm.
This show has a special place in my heart and I truly recommend this uplifting series to everyone. I think it will fill everyone’s heart full and teach to believe in life and firstly in yourself.

This is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. I don’t watch sports and don’t tend to watch sports shows or movies but I fell in love with this show from the first episode. The show’s treatment of heavier topics while also giving plenty of moments of laughter, along with the amazing character development it provided, makes this one of my new all-time favourites.
