Amber Dowling TheWrap The series has finally found its groove. Jul 26, 2024 Full Review Preston Barta Fresh Fiction Instead of aiming for emotional depth, avoiding desperation for laughs, and delivering thoughtful dialogue like 'That ’70s Show' often did, it’s relying on cartoonish behavior without offering anything of substance. Jul 5, 2024 Full Review Derek Sante KVCW (Las Vegas) I ;love this series and enjoy Debra Jo and Kurtwood as Kitty and Red. Rated: A Jul 3, 2024 Full Review Caitlin Wyneken Tell-Tale TV That ’90s Show isn’t anything revolutionary, but it builds on the best parts of itself here and leaves us waiting for what happens next. Rated: 4/5 Jul 2, 2024 Full Review Mini Anthikad-Chhibber The Hindu By not trying too hard to elicit nostalgia for the ‘90s, the ‘70s, or the original show it is based on, the series finds its mojo in this second part Jul 2, 2024 Full Review Joel Keller Decider The main complaint we had about the first season of That ’90s Show remains: When the characters from That ’70s Show are on screen, especially without any of the teens, the show is funny. Audience Member Garbage That 70’s Show is one of my favorite sitcoms of all time. I tolerated its last few seasons, I tolerated that 80’s show… I even tried to enjoy that 90’s show first season. The original cast - made it almost ok but the new cast is just plain bad. The writing is poor…. It just isn’t landing at all for me. As a kid of the 80’s and 90’s I hoped it would capture that era - but hasn’t at all. Did I mention the acting was bad? It is so bloody terrible. I got my kids to watch it, thinking maybe it’s me… they all agreed. Just awful. My eldest who LOVED that 70’s show (she binged watched it when you could still stream it) says - it is super cringe” Whomever greenlit this garbage, those who wrote it, and anyone remotely responsible should look at new industries to work in… Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/02/24 Full Review Tim V As a Gen xer, this hits the spot in more ways than I thought it would. I read some other review on this, and they said season 2 was where it found its groove and I can't agree more. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/27/24 Full Review Walter B The show has it's own unique charm while bringing you back to your childhood and teenage years with their drops of 90's pop culture nostalgia. I've found the series overall enjoyable. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/23/24 Full Review Frank R Absolutely horrendous and an embarrassment to the original. The ONLY tolerable moments are those with the original cast. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/21/24 Full Review Mony J Red, Kitty and the original cast members are the only thing worth watching of this show. The problem I have with the kids is the fact that they do not resemble the kids from the 90s as they act more like more modern generations. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/14/24 Full Review Astrid M Season 2 definitely was very enjoyable to watch! reminding me of some of that 70s charm. Def love red and kitty the most.
