Season 1 – The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!

2010 Kids & Family Comedy Animation List
Reviews Martin Short provides the voice of the title character in this animated series from PBS Kids, which aims to promote children's literacy in science. It follows the magical adventures of 6-year-olds Nick and Sally, who travel the world with the Cat in the Hat as their guide. As they travel in the Cat's customized vehicle, the Thinga-ma-jigger, which can float, fly, drive and even ski, they learn about natural science, visiting the rainforest, the bottom of the sea, and all places in between. They're joined in their travels by the Cat's mop-headed sidekicks, Thing One and Thing Two. Read More Read Less Watch on Prime Video Stream Now

Robert Lloyd Los Angeles Times The Flash-animated images are suitably Seussian, replicating his line and shapes and happily rendered in the flat planes of a picture book. May 14, 2020 Full Review Barry Garron Hollywood Reporter He diverts young minds with wild adventures and makes learning almost incidental. By incorporating scientific concepts into wacky stories, young children become more aware of the world around them almost effortlessly. May 14, 2020 Full Review Emily Ashby Common Sense Media Science class has never been as much fun for kids as it is with the Cat in the Hat leading the charge -- he makes it a joy to learn. Aubree M The Cat in the Hat has great education stuff for children to learn (like animals and science) and this show is also friendly. This show also has great information of things, though I do miss this show and I would love to see more episodes of this show someday. Maybe a new series show (or new episodes) of Nick and Sally going to more crazy adventures and sometimes visits the Cat's house (I don't even know if Cat has his own house) but then make a long special episode of Nick and Sally in a rocketship during space but then a huge astroid or whatever hits the rocket and damage it bad. Nick and Sally (this isn't a real episode yet btw but just sharing my idea) and Cat runs to the escape pod but then can't turn on the button to escape because the machine says "Only can carry two people" so Nick and Sally kept clicking the button until they realized Cat wasn't with them as soon as Nick and Sally saw Cat behind when the door shut. Cat basically sacrifice himself by leaving the escape pod and explains to the kids that everything will be alright and that he's just trying to protect them from danger. Long story short Nick and Sally lands to Earth, eventually at home at the yard, and saw the Cat in the Hat again. Nick and Sally cries in joy that the Cat is still alive as they hug Cat, and I guess that's it lol. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
