Riley Parks is a Texas housewife who is left in financial trouble after being deserted by her husband, so she decides to take a job at a seemingly traditional day spa in a nearby town. But after discovering that some of her co-workers provide additional services, Riley faces a decision as to whether or not to embrace an opportunity to resolve her financial hardships. The drama series, which is based on a 2010 TV movie, follows Riley as she delicately balances a moral conflict between two completely different lives -- one as a single mother in a conservative town and the other as a savvy businesswoman working with a raucous group of women. Knowing her friends and family would disapprove of her job, Riley struggles with keeping her work secret.

jessica b The acting was decent. The best friend was actually not a good friend at all and barely tolerable. She was nosey, judgey, had a big mouth, and an overall annoying character. The mother was too desperate for a man, a weak character, and not a great mom. The other characters were average. The storyline was not very believable other than the husband walking out on his family. It made no sense that she was struggling financially but had a clearly large expensive house. I was hoping for an empowering female show and this was not it. There was far too much pettiness, especially between the female characters. Also, the accents were horrendous. Has the perfect amount of hot and fantasy along with drama. Literally PERFECT show. You get to the end of season two it ends in a place where you are like HOLY FUCK let me watch another season I can’t wait only to be pissed because there’s no next season. I absolutely hate tv shows like this. It leaves me angry. Ruined a completely good show. Don’t waste your time on it it’ll also leave you upset.
