Jonathan Wright Guardian If the opening episode of this metaphysical drama left you a little confused, relax: China Miéville's source novel delights in misdirection in its early chapters, but things do get clearer. Audience Member This show explores the investigation of the death of Kirkland brand Sigourney Weaver by a detective player by Kirkland brand Liam Neeson. The story begins with a very thought-provoking premise: a city divided by conditioned perceptions. This would serve as fertile ground for many poignant explorations but instead fizzles out weakly with the message we all knew all along: you can either be alive, comatose, dead, or American.
