Eric Deggans NPR It seems the show has returned to its roots as an exploration of the challenges facing a working-class family that mostly avoids partisanship and values diversity. The humor is stilted and awkward at times, but its emotional core remains. Nov 23, 2019 Full Review Danette Chavez AV Club Altogether, these staples produce little flavor; maybe it's the lack of a shadow to emerge from, but "Preemies, Weed And Infidelity" is rarely ever more than just fine. Rated: C+ Sep 25, 2019 Full Review Alci Rengifo Entertainment Voice "The Conners" returns to remind us what primetime used to be. Producers Bruce Helford, Bruce Rasmussen, and Dave Caplan keep the "Roseanne" 90's format intact while still updating it for new viewers. Sep 26, 2019 Full Review Mads Misasi Tell-Tale TV It's a stellar move that really allows these characters to expand their emotional depths a little bit further. Rated: 4/5 Sep 25, 2019 Full Review Christine Orlando TV Fanatic This season premiere was far from perfect, but it did what I expect of the show, it made me laugh out loud, shake my head, and sometimes yell at the screen. Rated: 4.0/5.0 Sep 25, 2019 Full Review Roger Catlin rogercatlin.com It's got a strong cast... with Laurie Metcalf and John Goodman leading the way. Sep 24, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

kiska This show was better when Roseanne Barr was on it. Not worth watching without her. It's just not the Conners without her. Sara Gilbert made the show so incredibly bad. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Another great season. This is still one of my favorite comedies and always cheers me up if I'm down. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Trash. No Roseanne, no show. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member First season was weird without Roseanne and a little forced. The second has been great. Everything that made the original great is firing again. So happy we're getting a third season. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member They did it without Rosanne. It still funny and well written. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Basically running on fumes & desperate to stay relevant Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
