At 11, Barry Allen's life changed completely when his mother died in a freak accident and his innocent father was convicted of her murder. Now a crime-scene investigator, his dedication to learn the truth about his mother's death drives him to follow up on every new scientific advancement and urban legend. When his latest obsession -- a particle accelerator heralded as a world-changing invention -- causes an explosion, it creates a freak storm and Barry is struck by lightning. He awakes from a coma nine months later with the power of superspeed. When he learns that others who have gained powers use them for evil, he dedicates himself to protecting the innocent, while still trying to solve the older mystery.

Shadow and Act Staff Shadow and Act I feel confident that the relatively young cast is getting lessons in Acting 201 by the master thespian that Martin understatedly is... Sep 15, 2022 Full Review Vinnie Mancuso Observer It does something that really no other superhero show or movie has done in a while, and that's make being superhero look really... enjoyable. Jul 23, 2018 Full Review David Fear Rolling Stone Like Arrow, this series nails the feel of a vintage comic book without being cheesy or cheap, and the more classic Flash supervillains it introduces (Captain Boomerang, Pied Piper, Reverse Flash), the speedier it climbs up viewer's must-see lists. Jun 26, 2018 Full Review Peter Counter That Shelf If you’re tired of superhero adaptations bleeding seriousness to the point of near self-parody then The Flash is for you. Also for fans of other CW DC adaptations like Smallville and Arrow can expect more of the winning formula. Aug 13, 2024 Full Review Randy Dankievitch Processed Media The Flash is off to a solid start. Rated: B+ Feb 12, 2020 Full Review Noah Berlatsky Splice Today The plot bumbles here and there, not with a whoosh, but more banal television thunk, thunk, oops. Audience Member This is how you do a great super hero serie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/19/25 Full Review Julian B The first season was perfect. The performeces of Grant Gustin and Tom Cavanagh revolutionised the genre. The story was fresh and new. The concept of meta beings was better than in the comics. The realitionship between the Flash and the man in yellow (Reverse Flash) was the second best realtionsship of a villian and a hero in history (only Ledger joker and Bales Batman was better). The CGI was better than in most of the new Marvel movies. The sacrifice of Eddie was super emotional. Overall a 10/10. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/25 Full Review Audience Member First 5 seasons are great I couldn't get enough the characters were awesome and the story was unreal. It can be really depressing at times and the main character has to endure a lot of trauma. After season 5 this series went really downhill it was hard to get invested in, and the story just went everywhere. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/25 Full Review Kai N Who is more right break down these iq how knowledge they debating idk who these people are to:@Capybara_cook: Realistically, Light should have won because it was impossible to create an exact copy of the Death Note in the given time. Even if they had made a copy, Light could have given his follower a page. Vs @Kaito: It's funny how you think you're right. The brain tricks itself into believing it understands. You are mistaken. Light’s downfall wasn't about the time limit or copying the Death Note. It was his underestimation of L and Near's intellect. Even if a follower had a page, Light would still have faced major risks, like Mikami’s mistakes or Near's clever traps. Light lost because of his arrogance, not just because of timing or copying. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/25 Full Review Audience Member Amo esta temporada. Los personajes y la trama son muy solidos.Completamente recomendable. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/21/24 Full Review tiago m A temporada apresenta muito bem seus personagens, os aliados do Flash tem suas próprias tramas, os vilões de episódios estão muito bom e são boas ameaças, o vilão principal é muito bom e o GGI até que é bem usado Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/13/24 Full Review Read all reviews
