Christopher M This takes far too much effort to keep up with. Too many cute little jumps between the same person years apart, looking different, for example. The whole thing suffers from Billy Pilgrim Effect, it has come unstuck in time, jumping around everywhere. Just because it's unwatchable doesn't make it art. The subject is unlikable, the documentary unlovable. I have a terrific headache now, after only 35 minutes of this. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/30/23 Full Review Audience Member There is no doubt the framework for an interesting doc exists, and the unique character of Gary Betzner provides a charismatic storyteller, but something about the three hour presentation never felt as compelling as the headline grabbing details of this narrative seemed to promise. Maybe it is due to the over saturation of true crime fare available today but many docs of this genre rarely seem to warrant the run time for me anymore.
